We make one espressomachine in Turin

One of us ran a bar near Porta Palazzo and the other fixed its machines, so we built the espresso machine we wanted and now make it in three models.

How Nove started

One of us ran a bar near Porta Palazzo. The other fixed its machines. The one we wanted did not exist, so we drew it on a till roll and built the first ten by hand.

What goes into every machine

A machine should outlast its warranty, so all three models share the same steel body, walnut handles and numbered parts.

  • The pressure gauge

    A gauge on the front

Every machine holds 9 bar at the coffee, and the gauge shows it while the shot runs.

  • The Duo's steel body taken apart

    2 mm steel body

Brushed steel, with panels that come off with one screwdriver.

  • Steel, walnut and copper samples

    Oiled walnut handles

They darken where you hold them.

  • The 58 mm portafilter with its walnut handle

    58 mm portafilter

The handle that holds the coffee, in the size cafés use, so any 58 mm basket or tamper fits.

  • A workshop shelf of drawers holding spare handles, portafilters and gauges

    Every part has a number

We keep parts in Turin for every machine we have sold.

  • Hands tightening a fitting inside a machine with its casing off on the workshop bench

Repairs for as long as you keep it

Three years of warranty, then repairs at the price of the part.

The founders

The people behind your machine

Nove means nine. Espresso needs 9 bar of pressure. Less and the coffee tastes thin, more and it tastes bitter. Every machine we make holds nine, and the gauge on the front shows it.
From Turin, with nine bar.

Ran a bar near Porta Palazzo. Ask about taste, milk drinks and which model makes the coffee you drink.

  • The engineer with crossed arms in the repair workshop

    The engineer

Fixed the bar's machines. Ask about warm-up times, the Pro's two boilers, repairs and the warranty.
